Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

3 russet (baking) potatoes
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper

Peel and slice potatoes into one-inch chunks. Add potatoes to a large pot, sprinkle with salt, and fill pot with just enough water to cover the potatoes. Bring water to a boil, then lower temperature and allow to cook for 15 minutes or until tender.

Once potatoes are cooked, strain, and return to the pot along with the cream cheese, butter, and milk.

Mash ingredients together until everything is well mixed and lump-free. It might require some extra elbow grease to get the mixture super smooth. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
