Money to My Ears: The Economist Radio

A podcast to cover all of your business, finance, and political needs

Many may know of—or have at least heard of—the Economist at some point in their academic journey. This is probably due to the highly recommended and praised magazine and online news resource that the Economist has developed for the economic-minded. Though the magazine and website have gained significant followers, if you are more inclined to get your business news fix with your ears, rather than your eyes, do not fear, for The Economist Radio is “hear.”  Covering many of the hard hitting news pieces that the magazine and web page do, the podcasts make it easy to get your information on the run, without actually having to read anything.

The podcasts range from strictly business, finance, and economics, to mixtures of politics and other world news. Usually coming in under 20 minutes each, the podcasts are comprised of either one or a small collection of stories that are pertinent to recent happenings, like the back tax deal for Google, or the U.S. primary elections happening this week. Though the style of the podcast is slightly more structured and serious, they are still entertaining, insightful, and well-informed, leaving listeners with a different perspective, and the feeling that only the acquisition of knowledge can bring.
