Polls opened for the 2016 CSA general elections on March 16, 2016. Students will be able to vote for their 2016/2017 executive commissioners until March 18, 2016. In order to provide students with the best possible information as they cast their ballots, The Ontarion interviewed this year’s candidates for the four available executive commissioner positions. Due to the lack of candidates for the local affairs commissioner position, there is no information for this position.

The Ontarion is the University of Guelph’s independent student newspaper. It began in 1951 as part of the Ontario Agricultural College and then began to represent the entire University of Guelph once it amalgamated in 1964. The Ontarion incorporated in May 1970 as The Ontarion, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation registered with the province of Ontario.
