Women’s volleyball vs. Waterloo
Gryphons 3, Warriors 0
In their final game of the fall semester, the women’s volleyball team walked over the Waterloo Warriors to an easy victory. The Gryphons won convincingly 25-16, 25-20, and 25-19. This win moves them into third place in the OUA west standings.
Women’s basketball vs. York
Gryphons 71, Lions 62
The women’s basketball team secured their first win of the regular season, defeating York in a competitive match. Third-year guard Megan Brenkel was a standout for the Gryphons, playing 38 minutes and racking up 16 points. The team will play their next game versus Toronto in the brand new Guelph Gryphons Athletic Centre in January.
Men’s basketball vs. York
Gryphons 87, Lions 65
In their final game at the W.F. Mitchell Athletics Centre, the men’s basketball team made it look easy as they vanquished the York Lions. The Gryphons now sit at three wins and three losses in the season, and second place in the OUA central standings. Their season will resume in January in the new athletic centre.
