Hidden gems close to home
Ontario is home to beautiful places that only get more beautiful come summertime. Luckily for Guelphites, many of these are located extremely close to home. As the weather reaches its peak, these fives places are perfect for cooling off or simply experiencing the different gems Ontario has to offer. Whether you prefer a low-key outing or a spur-of-the-moment adventure, these budget-friendly day trips can be enjoyed for about 20 bucks each.

All you’ll spend on this day out is the cost of travel (and croissants).

Conservation areas are always a great way to spend a hot summer day, but those with hidden swimming spots are the ones worth visiting.
