Six ways to decorate cupcakes to bring a little cheer into your home

There’s nothing quite like making some special goodies to enjoy over the holiday season. Cupcakes present an easy avenue to get crafty with your decorating — all you need are some little items to place on top and voilà, you’ve got yourself a super cute, festive treat! Here are six different ways to decorate a cupcake for the holidays. Check out the list beside each photo for the toppings you’ll need to recreate that specific idea. Reindeer
- 1 regular sized marshmallow (cut to make flat “half moons”)
- 1 small flat biscuit – light brown in colour
- 1 red peanut M&M
- 2 brown mini M&Ms
- 2 small twist pretzels
- Brown icing

Santa Hat
- 1 big strawberry
- White icing
- Icing sugar
Ornaments
- Tiny (clean) Christmas ornaments
- Mini M&Ms
- Sprinkles
- White icing

Mistletoe
- 3 red peanut M&Ms
- Green and white icing
- Icing sugar


Snowman
- 2 regular sized marshmallows
- A tip of a strawberry
- 2 pretzel sticks
