Fair November

This year marked Guelph’s 40th Fair November, hosted at our very own University Centre, with more than 30,000 visitors and over 80 artisans exhibiting colourful displays, sharing stories, and giving out delicious samples. This four-day event introduced visitors to creative crafts such as jewelry, candles, ornaments, clothes and accessories, as well as products such as fudge, jams, oils, soaps, and many more—all handmade. By the Saturday night, Nov. 21 2015, many artisans were tired, but continued to share inspiring stories and kept the warm and festive atmosphere going. “This is a tiring, yet rewarding event because we get to share our creations and inspire others, and seeing how happy our art makes others makes it all worth it,” said a participating vendor at the event. Needless to say, this year’s fair was a huge success, enjoyed by both the vendors and the visitors, including many students.
