On Jan. 25, 2016, University of Guelph marketing professor Karen Gough passed away. Gough joined the University of Guelph in 1992, and soon achieved the rank of full professor, and she remained an active member of the university faculty and city community.
“Karen was a valued member of the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies, and College of Business and Economics, and while she put considerable amounts of energy into undergraduate teaching, her first love was working with graduate students in the MSc. program,” said Dr. Julia Christensen Hughes, Dean of the College of Business and Economics.
The department of marketing and consumer studies is currently raising money for a graduate travel grant, in memory of Gough.
