National Public Radio (NPR) brings us another fantastic podcast in the form of Business Story of the Day. Though the tone of the show varies from the previously spotlighted podcast, Planet Money, Business Story of the Day brings listeners daily views and opinions on current issues and topics from conversations in the business world. Whether this is a discussion about paternity leave, as is the focus of “How to get dads to take paternity leave?” or, food and commodity prices, the wide range of stories allows for easy listening for any subscriber.
In addition to the efforts made to keep information fresh and current, NPR also divides the stories by topic area, with focuses on the economy, nationwide news, and “The Salt,” which focuses on food and agriculture, and national defense. With the list of subcategories continuing on, there really is something there for everyone. Another benefit of Business Story of the Day is the quick and concise manner of presentation.
