Guelph’s international students take on Canada’s Wonderland Halloween Haunt

On Oct. 31, international students of the University of Guelph went on a trip to Canada’s Wonderland for this year’s Halloween. The event was hosted by the International Student Organization and Chinese Students and Scholars Association.

Without question, the haunted houses were the most exciting part of the night, offering new—yet terrifying—Halloween experiences for students who did not know what to expect from the attractions.

There were 10 different haunted houses, each with a different theme. A sci-fi themed haunted house was one of the most memorable ones. It was decked out with human experimentations, alien-like creatures, and different kinds of mutations.

On the other hand, Spirit Manor, the haunted mansion-themed house, was terrifying and elegant at the same time. The moment you stepped inside the manor, it felt like stepping into an old 18th-century home.

Visitors got more unexpected scares from costumed haunters throughout the amusement park, adding to the overall festive experience.
