Women’s volleyball vs. Brock

Gryphons 3, Badgers 0

The women’s volleyball team secured an important win on the road as they defeated the Brock Badgers in three sets to zero. The Gryphons were dominant throughout the match, winning 25-20, 25-21, and 25-20. Fourth-year Maddie Decker had a standout performance for Guelph with 12 points from 10 kills and two aces. The team will face Waterloo in their last game of the semester on Fri, Dec. 2.


Men’s volleyball vs. Brock

Gryphons 3, Badgers 1

The men’s team continued their winning streak in St. Catherine’s with a victory over Brock. The Gryphons defeated the Badgers in three sets to one, losing the first set 25-27 but winning three in a row 25-21, 25-16, and 25-18. The team has now won six games in a row.


Women’s hockey vs. Windsor

Gryphons 5, Lancers 2

The women’s hockey team played with impressive form as they downed the Windsor Lancers 5-2. The Gryphons will take a break until January, but will be ready to continue to add to their already admirable record of 11-2-1.


Men’s hockey vs. Nipissing and Laurentian

Gryphons 2, Lakers 1

Gryphons 4, Voyageurs 3

The Gryphons took two wins from an exciting weekend at home against the Nipissing Lakers and the Laurentian Voyageurs. In their second game of the weekend, during “Hockey Day in Gryphonville,” the Gryphons defeated the Voyageurs in an exciting overtime win. Their season will resume in January against Windsor.


Swimming at Fairweather Division Championship

Gryphon men 5th place

The Gryphons’ swim team hosted OUA division championships, competing against Western, Toronto, Ottawa, and McMaster. The Gryphons completed the weekend with the women finishing in third place and the men in fifth place overall. Guelph won a total of nine medals in the championship and three Gryphons swam CIS-qualifying times.
