The women’s basketball team lost two hard fought games on the road in Ottawa. The Gryphons fell to one win and 11 losses in the season, but remain focused as they head into their next game at home against Algoma.
Men’s basketball vs. Carleton and Ottawa

The men’s basketball team was defeated heavily in both games over the weekend. Carleton and Ottawa are ranked first and second respectively in the country, giving the Gryphons a difficult task in facing them.
Women’s hockey vs. UOIT
Gryphons 3, Ridgebacks 2
The Gryphons defeated UOIT in a shootout taking away a key point and staying on top of the OUA standings. The women’s hockey team have won seven games in a row and will look to extend their streak on Jan. 28 in their game against the Waterloo Warriors.
Men’s hockey vs. Waterloo
Gryphons 3, Warriors 4
The men’s hockey team lost narrowly to Waterloo in an intense showdown that went to double overtime. Goalie Keith Hamilton had an outstanding performance for the Gryphons, saving 50 out of 54 shots in the game.
