University of Guelph mourns fourth-year student

The University’s flags were flown at half-mast on Jan. 24 in memory of Riley Lynch, a fourth-year physics student, who died on Jan. 19.

A celebration of life was held on Jan. 24, and in lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The University reminds students that counselling services are available for students by appointment, drop-in services, and after-hours resources.
