A campus tour of the University of Guelph
Welcome to the University of Guelph, where we are changing (1) and improving
(2).
Today, we are going to take you on a tour of campus as it is seen by our students. As you enter campus you will see a statue of our beloved mascot, the majestic (3). The path that we’re taking will lead us to one of the University’s many (4) spots. On your right, you’ll notice the (5) loop where many students arrive and depart from school each day.
Now we’ll head into the University Centre: the (6) of the Guelph campus. Here you’ll find student club spaces, administrative offices, the Centre Six cafeteria, and The Ontarion newspaper office.
Brass Taps, the campus pub, is frequented by (7) who want to unwind after a long week of (8).
Let’s take the north doors out into (9) Plaza. Towards the other side of the plaza we’ll enter the MacNaughton building, home to the University Bookstore where you can buy your Guelph swag, such as (10), (11), and overpriced (12).
Just across from Raithby House, we will find the illustrious Old (13); more commonly known as The (14). In the past, students would move this veteran piece of war machinery all around campus under the cover of darkness. Now, it is cemented in place, and covered in thick layers of (15).
Whether for a quick (16) between classes or a vibrant place to catch up on some work, The Bullring is one of the University’s most (17) hotspots.
From these doors, we have a perfect view of the library. This building is always packed full of
(18) folks, just be sure to look out for (19).
Moving right along! On your right, you will see the (20) Theatre where many of our drama and (21) majors perform.
And on your left, behold Johnston (22). Observe the Gryphons in their natural habitat: playing Ultimate (23), enjoying a (24), or just soaking up the sun while surrounded by friends.
On the other side of the field, just outside the (25) Gallery of Guelph, you’ll see a statue of the Canadiana Begging (26). Another campus tradition: students will dress the statue up in all kinds of (27).
Thanks for joining us on this tour and we hope to see you in the fall!
