All voting for CSA positions and referendums can be accessed through GryphMail
The Central Student Association (CSA) elections are ongoing with polls originally set to close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 being extended by a day to 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 7.
Undergraduate students at the University of Guelph vote through GryphMail, using an email ballot from the CSA Chief Returning Officer and has a subject line of “Central Student Association Ballot – VOTE!”
This time around, students are being asked to vote on four CSA executive positions, four board of director positions, and three referendum questions.
Although all CSA positions on both the board and executive are running unopposed, enough students must vote in order to meet quorum, which is the minimum number of members of a group required to conduct business.
The list of executive nominees are:
- President: Dena Van de Coevering
- VP Student Experience: Claudia Idzik
- VP Academic: Lindsey Fletcher
- VP External: Horeen Hassan
The list of Board nominees are:
- CSAHS: Jamie Gibson
- CBESA: Lolia Shallouf
- CEPS: Daniah Al-Naseri
- CEPS: Matteo Raso
The list of groups with referendum questions are:
- The Ontarion referendum question
- CSA and The Sustainability Action Fund referendum question
- Guelph Centre for Urban Organic Agriculture (GCUOF) referendum question
